Soundwaves Relay
Unlinking and re-linking
Disconnect a Relay and bring it back with its history intact.
If you need to disconnect a Relay, you can unlink it. You might do this because you're moving it to a new machine, retiring the old one, or you simply want to revoke its access.
You can unlink in either place:
- In Soundwaves Studio, withdraw the Relay's access.
- In the desktop app, use the unlink action to do it from the machine itself.
Once unlinked, the Relay stops syncing and returns to the approval screen.
Re-linking
When you're ready, approve it again, just as you did when linking it the first time. It comes back with its history intact. A planned move, or a re-link after revoking access, never means re-importing your library or double-counting your plays.
